I actually agree with Brooks here.
I've been saying this since the start. The Rangers defeat themselves when something bad happens. It's a consequence of being the youngest team for sure, but I would have hoped the leadership and coaching would help them work through some of this issue at this point.

They definitely miss Panarin's inspired style of play to help work through these growing pains.

At this point he’s killing the team in multiple ways.

They need his talent, we can’t call anyone up bc of the cap hit and mentally it’s gotta be a bit draining on the team

The Rangers will be well set in the next 2 to 3 years. In a rebuild you cant live game to game. Its been just 3 years that the rebuild started. People have much to high expectations for this team. These kids need more development time. A playoff run would have been nice but without Panarin, i dont think its in the cards. Still dont understand DQ's infatuation with Howden.

That is the hardest part for me to accept. Compared to previous years, this Penguins team is NOT very strong, yet they have taken 5 out of 6 from us. SMH

That’s what killed me last night. Multiple Grade A chances in the final few minutes. The goalie made some good saves but if Buch lifts the puck they are practically tap ins. It’s been a theme all season long. Rangers can’t score clutch goals when it counts, and on the flip side don’t get those clutch saves either. All part of the learning process for a young team I suppose but it feels like they are so close to being legitimate that it makes these games hurt more.

somebody on twitter commented this morning that Pionk has 18 assists in Winnipeg, because that's what Rangers twitter does, everytime we lose, we check the stats of guys who left and then complain about it.

But if Adam Fox was in Winnipeg right now with those finishers, he'd probably have 30 assists at this point.

They are an experienced veteran team. Better coach and system too. They will decline in a year two big time like the caps
