But you know what really pissed me off? Jensen, once he gains a step, actually cuts into slightly Ghost's path to muscle him off, leaves him tin he dust and then comes back inside. He actually changes his trajectory to bump Ghost off.

A defender there cannot be bumped off so easily.

This point is completely irrelevant! I don't freaking care where Ghost was. Ghost had the speed to catch up and make a play, and didn't do it, instead he gave up on the play and allowed the shot to happen. Watch it again!

Brian Elliott is not a starting goaltender and Hart is shot this year. True recipe for success.

Hard for this offense to overcome to the defense and goaltending effort right now. The defense is what it is right now, but Hart and Elliot seem to be fighting it right now. Shame because both guys were good last year and Elliot has been a steadying presence for much of this season.

1. He was actually behind Ghost. He just bust his balls, and Ghost began by tentatively coasting.




2. Ghost was contemptuously brushed aside as though he was not there.


3. Then, Ghost is not in the play at all.

Hart has proven himself to be a starter based on last year...I attribute this to the normal lumps every young goalie goes through. Elliot has been solid for most of the year. The defense has the done the two goalies no favors this season. The last few games have not been good for either, but I’m not pinning their recent troubles solely on Hart and Elliot. I didn’t think they’d miss Niskanen this much.
