You’re forgetting Farabee. They’ve hit on later round picks at a pretty good clip with guys like Oskar, Bunnaman, Sushko and NAK where the percentages aren’t overall great. Even recent later round guys still in the system like Cates, Allison and Laczynski show promise. You also have recent forward picks like Wisdom, Foerster, Brink, O’Brien, Frost and Desnoyers showing a lot of promise. The only real recent forward pick who’s been a disappointment based on expectations is Rubtsov.

Look, Ghost is clearly the Flyers best offensive defenseman, but he is a disaster defensively, this is nothing new.

I wouldn't call him a disaster, but he just isn't built like your your typical defenseman and it sometimes can hurt the team. Sanheim is also a gifted offensive defenseman, but is soft especially for his size. Actually the whole team can be candidates for The Lady Bing. The team that Hextall built.

Expecting every pick to become all-star caliber is unrealistic....getting meaningful playing time and some production is more realistic based on the odds.

Really disappointed the way a schlep like Hathaway can take liberties with Couts, G and others with 0 pushback. Could you imagine if Wilson played this series? Just another one of the many issues that this team has no answer for.
