But when did owning a prius or an electric car become an insult. They are like 30-50 grand new, they make them look like most other N/A cars, and gas is 149.9 and going to continue to climb. I have a newer civic which is fantastic on gas, but I would be super happy not paying for gas ever again lol. I dunno, maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't mind owning an electric vehicle. I've wanted tesla for a while. - Codes1087
It's only an insult if you believe the oil and gas industry is the future. I think I first started looking at tesla a decade or so ago.
Pretty soon the entire thread will be a gang. |

There are so many plot holes in this movie, but let me just ask this:
Ducks are final team to squeak into playoffs, yet they don’t play against the Hawks until the finals? |

It’s been interesting to see the Tesla & Taycan crowd take on the muscle & exotic (Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc) crowd in quarter mile racing. So much torque in four wheel electrics, the starts are amazing!
(I still want an Audi R8 v10, though) |

And District 5 starts the season complaining about no equipment.
Wouldn’t they save money playing with the lights on, instead of employing people to operate spotlights? |

Yeah, it's impressive. Range still isn't great but for commuters it's fine. |

Aren't all manufacturers aiming to be strictly electric by 2030 or something? I know Honda is striving to not have any natural aspirated vehicles for sale by then, which would mean Acura as well. Toyota has been in the electric game a while, obviously as has Lexus. It's only a matter of time before all are electric outside of commercial vehicles imo |

Voltswagon!
Yeah, they're definitely shifting away from oil and gas. |

A lot of the auto manufacturers are aiming for electrification of their portfolio before 2030. Some of them are following Tesla’s approach (like Ford, with the Mach E), while some are still pursuing more efficient gas vehicles (Mazda) or hybrids.
hybrids make some sense to me, as a way to eliminate range anxiety or increase horsepower, but I expect them to fade as battery tech improves.
Some *very* interesting work in commercial (18 wheel) trailer vehicles, particularly for short-haul applications. |

Hybrid is what I was wanting as well. We were wanting to get thr honds insight, but got a really killer deal on a SE civic sedan instead. it gets 7.1 per 100 right now, which obviously is not in hybrid territory, but it was quite a bit more expensive than the civic as well.
I hadn't read anything about the 18 wheelers being EV, will have to do some research |

I have no idea what gas costs. We’re considering selling our truck because it just sits in the driveway collecting dust (and costing us insurance and depreciation) |

Chatfield and michaelis are the latest two. List grows to 16 roster players. 2 taxi squad players tested positive but names aren't being released. Hopefully everyone recovers and has no long term effects from this, and hopefully family members are ok. - Codes1087
I heard something today about players on other teams, might not be interested in playing the Canucks, at all the rest of this season. |

My 2019 has less than 12k on it. You'd be surprised what your 2nd hand vehicle is worth right now. I need a truck or at least an all weather vehicle or else i'd sell mine. |

Yet just a week or 2 ago they probably wished all their remaining games were against them. |

For sure, but they're not selling diesel here anymore.
Their gas cars are average at best. Screams electric to me. |

I'm happy this is the direction. Will drive down the price of how much EV vehicles are now. |
