Add in Dylan Guenther who has 24 points in 12 games. William Eklund and Simon Edvinsson and as long as Van is picking in the top 8. I think you're staying in the top tier's of players before a little bit bigger drop off. If Van is picking outside of those top 8 and one doesn't fall. I would consider trading down to pick up another future piece.

I like there defense. Makar is already a top 5 defenseman in the league. I would be a bit concerned about Girard though. Far to risky of a player for my liking.
I really like Toews, would have gladly given up what Colorado did to get him, (but no, we get stuck with a average #4 defenseman, that costs 5.95 million and a 3rd.)
Graves is solid, as has been McDonald, which is a nice surprise for them.
Timmins is a kid I was hoping Canucks would get, another solid type and Byram will be another very good all around defenseman.
