JBs fault for not selling at last years deadline, not selling early at this years deadline. If he would have traded Adam a month earlier. Canucks would know where they are in the points percentage standings. - manvanfan
While the first part is technically true, I’m not sure how it relates to the second part.
As the manager, you should be able to think at least a few months into the future and make some decisions based on that. |

You are correct, I was a dishwasher, and in fact, still do dishes when that’s what needs to be done. That’s what people do, whatever needs to be done.
How do you cut a restaurant capacity by 300%? I’m glad you aren’t my financial advisor! “Well Mr. Vintage, you see the dichotomy of the investment game is that I make all the money and you take all the risk. It’s really a very good system”
Yes, restaurants are hurting. I’ve said it like 5 times on this one page. BUT, if you got caught off guard by this latest announcement then you haven’t been paying attention. It’s not that you “deserve” to be doing poorly, but you should have been preparing for this in any way you can. - 1970vintage

Exactly why they need a President of Hockey Operations, a savvy smart hockey man.

I know more about restaurants than you do about finances my friend. I’ve been working in them longer than you have been alive. I acknowledged that many are struggling. What I’m saying is that if this most recent announcement is the thing that put them under then they haven’t been paying attention, because this has been building for a year now. - 1970vintage
No one can plan for a year like this last one, lots of places are barely holding on. Victoria pivoted really well and let every restaurant and their dog build a patio. I can only soeak to the city ive been in the industry for 20 years in, lots of places in Victoria are hanging on by a thread despite knowing 2020 was going to be a loss. |

Why would they sell last year when you've got a shot to make the dance

Jim the scout needs help with asset managing. Trevor was never going to do that or get FA to open his pockets to build the right way. |

Not saying he's the ideal fit, but a Jim Rutherford type.

You know very little about restaurants my friend. Not all of them are allowed a patio. Also, some may make $ at 250 seats but not at 50. Do you know how hard the industry was before this BS. Sure, the chain restaurants will be fine but the little guys are (frank)ed - CanuckDon

They want all small businesses to stay open except when it's someone's business that they don't like |
|

The food trucks have been doing extremely well here and the restaurants have always been shit.
I don't waste my time or money on them, because the food tastes worse than cardboard, so, if they go under, I am supposed to feel bad for them and blame covid?
I feel bad for the small dining places that have good food and a nice selection of homemade pies etc, I don't feel bad for the place that sells fries and gravy, sorry |
