I think Marleau is only still playing because he wanted to break this record. Now that he's there, I think he'll hang them up.

No doubt that's a lot of professional games and when you look at the fact that Howe played his last NHL game when he was 52 is absolutely incredible.

BUT.... the record is career NHL games. Not professional games. Are you next going to start arguing that AHL games should count? KHL?

Never liked the Sharks as an expansion team and certainly never liked Marleau. Congratulations on the games played record. Now can you play in another 2 decades ha ha Howe will always have that record.
