Speaking of AHL norms. No salary cap on coaching. Nobody has hired a legit guy near the end of his career to be the AHL development coach guy. Like, sign Gallant to coach the Comets and my him NHL money.

I don't know how next season is going to work but if Benning doesn't sign some college or CHL ufa's. There won't be anyone new going to Utica. McDonough and Malone probably back to college and most of the euro players have extended or are still under contract.

Canucks depend on other leagues to develop their players a little too much.

He’s way faster and better on his skates than JL. Prefers the right side, he’s Schmidt light.

Adam Gaudette is a ppg in Chicago. Also since Feb the canucks having only been scoring 2.25 gpg dead last in the league.

Hes taken criticism in here but I like Schmidt. He either plays with edler or fringe defenseman. He played proper 2nd pairing minutes for vegas and excelled in the role with a good defense partner. Not trying to make excuses for him, Hughes, or Myers, but as of right now we aren't icing a nhl caliber defense and it shows.
