Here's something for you to chew on, youngin: If you were that damn good, you'd have been a 1st rounder. I got it, playing with a "losing" club isn't everyone's cup of tea, but until you prove your worth, deal with it. It's a real punk-ass move, if you ask me.

Glad to see Bernie wanting to be back, good G and provides some stability behind an other-wise lack-luster D corps. If we had Askarov....... Seriously, methinks that there's going to be a move made somewhere in our near future. Fulcher's got a way to go, Pickard isn't worth much, there's just nothing that sticks out as a viable option. You're right there is a reason they weren't first round picks. Set yourself up for your best chance at success, its a business. Have to do what you can to get paid.

A lot of stop gap options as Wiser-man builds the team. Maybe make a trade with Fla this summer...Yandle (retain a million of his 2 x $6.35M salary) + Knight for Cholo
Yandle will want to keep his ironman streak going, so he'll waive his NMC to a team that will play him.

As I said, up the middle. Veleno has been shifted to Wing in AHL and SHL because he just isn’t getting the right level of play. Berggren continues to get stronger. In the same league, on a team without as much going for it, Veleno was still moved to wing. They want him to get there, but he’s struggling. JB is a better center at this point

He was moved to the wing in the SHL so he didn’t have to adjust to playing center on the bigger ice surface.

They tried him at center. He wasn’t able to do it. He just isn’t good at it. Berggren is a better center right now. Veleno is not good defensively. He’s struggling. It’s not the end of the world. JB is just better at that position currently
