I thought the Jets were playing the Oilers, not the Leafs.

The Jets can't expect the Oilers to give up so they have to play a physical game and attack with their superior line depth.

In addition to momentum the Jets should have an advantage because of the depth. Perhaps we were seeing it later in the game yesterday also as the Oilers forwards got fatigued in the third and OT. I agree with islansjet, play them hard, play them physical and roll four lines as long as the game is close.

Some well earned days of rest for the boys! Kyle Connor for Mayor!!! Great win, but it certainly wasn't easy! Feel a little sorry for McJesus, Draisaitl, Nurse, Smith and co. - they gave it all they had.

Like I said, great goaltending and secondary scoring make the Jets the class of the North Division. They should get by the Leafs or the Habs pretty easily as well.
