That bunch of misfits will be destroyed by the Boston Bruins. They got every break possible. Goon hockey on Long Island Lammy Lamorello sucks too. He destroys the game of hockey with his tactics. I hope they get mauled by the bruins

UFAs are: SCEVIOUR, RODRIGUES, GAUDREAU, CECI, YEBER AND LEGACE.

Only Ceci and Gaudreau even played in the playoffs, they are not going to even care about the other four and those two(if they want them back) won't cost too much.

RFAs are: ZAR, BJÖRKQVIST, JANKOWSKI, ZOHORNA, BLUEGAR AND EMIL.

Jankowski and Emil are gone. ZAR maybe, Bluegar may go in the expansion draft and Zohorna will get mimimal and Bjorkqvist I doubt will ever see the NHL.

So in reality, there isn't much there to lose or cost.

My question is: do they have to protect a goalie?

Hopefully, they get rid of Letang and his $7.25 million cap hit. My guess is Doumoulin is the one who will be traded. He'll be 30 in Sept, so still young enough and $4.1 million cap is very reasonable for another team for just two years.

Kapanen is the only one worth a damn, maybe a 3d for him. Again, the Pens have little-to-nothing that The Captain should go after

Their roster has not been adjusted to "post season" yet by Capfriendly. I t should change some as some players are moved to "non-roster"

Dumoulon might be OK for a stop gap, but I would not do the Pens any favors.

OK, they are not gonna give up Kappinen, but I do like McCann. But again, he has to be the best player in any deal and only a 3rd for him otherwise.

So if I was Detroit I would maybe call STL and see if somehow we can nab parakyo or tara for cheap.. I’ve always loved his game and I think he would be a great stop gap for us if we could acquire him at a cheap cost.. personally everytime I think up one of these scenarios I always draw back to if we’re not getting picks or prospects it doesn’t really make sense to me... if Stevie keeps drafting these guys are gonna start poppin. Deals like vrana don’t come around often and I can’t believe everyone overlooked that kids numbers.
