I would say he may be the best combo of defence and offence though. Those other guys didn’t have the offensive chops that Bergeron does. Datsyuk would be the other top guy in that matter.

As a Canucks fan i hate to say this, but its him or datsyuk and one of them has more hardwear

Tied with Gainey for Selke wins and been nominated every year for over a decade. I’d say you can always argue someone else , but that’s pretty damn good.

Zetterberg had some great offensive seasons. Very comparable to Bergie's offensive seasons.

People mentioning Ovi clearly forgot prior to 2016 he didn't really play in his end of the rink.

Kopitar would challenge for best of the last decade so I’d say no. Especially with the others people have mentioned above.
