Why Is Doug Wilson still employed?

I can see arguments either way. Sharks were a contender for the cup for a long stretch which I think has earned him a chance to fix things. He's made a few moves that I'd say seemed bad and/or too risky (not adequately addressing goal tending issues a season or two ago; trading away a few too many draft picks; taking interim tag off Boughner.)
But some of the things people are crying about now weren't necessarily seen as bad moves at the time. He's been burned by players whose games fell to crap. Vlasic, Jones, Burns, Meier.
