Been reported yesterday in multiple outlets that he's already agreed to waive it.
And his injury history, cap hit and apparent decline will all depress his trade value. Avs are also desperate to dump salary before free agency. - Tomahawk
Its a safe move for him. There is almost 0 chance Seattle would pick him with his cap hit and injury concerns. A lingering concussion like he has is a real red flag.
That being said, if the Avs retain salary it may be an avenue to explore.

Congrats to Oskar! Well deserved award.
BTW... watching VGK - MTL... can't help but think that it's a good thing the Flyers didn't select Cole Caufield in the draft. Who needs a young scrub that just puts up points in the playoffs in his first few NHL games? All he does is score goals and set up plays. Flyers don't need players like that. Nope. Not at all. /sarc

They certainly do, I just think they need good defensemen more.

The majority of their top picks for years have been D-men. So far, none are really standing out as difference makers, save for the limited definition of that being provorov. Perhaps I'm looking at it wrong, but who would I rather have? Sanheim? Meyers? York? Brink? Zamula? and whomever prospect the Flyers have? Granted, hindsight is 20/20 but I remember advocating strongly that the Flyers should have picked Caufield. He was in that incredible draft when nearly half of the top 30 players selected in the draft were from the same USA Hockey NTDP team. And all of his teammates said about him "all he does is score goals" and that included Cam York saying that. I'm just saying that I hate that he was on the board and the Flyers were expected to take him, but that traded down and took York. No knocking on York, but it just pisses me off to see him thriving on MTL. |

I do admit he looks good. 1 goal 4 assists in 10 playoff games and -2.

Bye bye Ben.
Send Tobias Harris off into the sun as well. Doc should be gone too.
Simmons and however many first round picks it takes for Lillard. |

What an embarrassment - Dkos
It's beyond embarrassing. They quit playing. Doc Rivers has a big hand in this loss. He coached a horrendous game. The Hawks were getting back in the game when he had the starters out and Rivers just sat there and let them do it. He should've recognized and put the starters back in sooner. When he did it was too late. Too much momentum on the Hawks end. I'm so sick of structured substitution patterns. It was clear early in the game that bench players such as Shake Milton did not have it tonight. |

Doc has been out coached badly three out of the five games this series. Game 1 he ran an all bench lineup and just watched the Hawks go on a 17-0 run. Last game it was clear Embiid was laboring in the second half and still ran the offense through him. Tonight again the bench was out there too long.
How many points did Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris have in the second half tonight? Did they get lost in the locker room at halftime? These are two max players. Max players! The whole idea of having two max players besides Embiid is so he doesn’t have to score 40 a night and play 38 plus minutes.
It’s not hyperbole to say that should mark the end of Ben and Tobi. Doc should be gone as well. Let Morey pick his own coach.
I have full faith in Morey to make the right moves this off-season. |

I’m not sure if you’re referring to home or away game, or just in general. The recent 9-0 loss to the Rangers was the most embarrassing in loss in Philadelphia history imo. |

He didn’t even have to roll out the entire starting lineup. He could mix and match but no. All bench stayed out there. |

It’s unacceptable but understandable for Tobi. He needs to be involved all game to be effective and he clearly wasn’t as Embiid and Curry had the hot hand.
Simmons horrid again from the line tonight. Might be a tie between Doc and Simmons for most responsible for tonight’s loss.

If Simmons makes even half of his FT, the Sixers win both of the last two games. He’s not a bench player. He’s a starter on a 1 Seed with a max contract. He’s gotta be better than this…this is simply unacceptable. Strange thing is even after tonight, they could still easily win two straight against Atlanta…they’re clearly the better team that just can’t get out of their own way. This is frustrating. |
