I think you misunderstood my question and I misunderstood your answer.
I pose that, potentially, the Sabres DID pick BPA. Or so they perceive(d).
I believe what you're stating is they should have picked Rossi.
What makes anyone think that Rossi is capable of filling Jack's shoes? Why can't Cozens? - TheSabresTaco
And if the Sabres keep the number 1 pick, but choose Eklund, are you going to say they choose BPA again and be comfortable making that statement? |

Well done Hank.
The grades given and reasoning is all very fair. |

You mean the team with C-level talent post-JT that's lucked it's way to the third round three years running?

Oops - Michael Pachla
The Islanders are like that kid at the playground that's no fun to beat up. You'll kick the poop out of him but he'll just keep getting up for more, making you mad. He'll never give you the satisfaction of knowing you beat him. On the other hand, it's not like you're in danger of getting your ass kicked by him either.
The Sabres, on the other hand, are the kid that just curls up in a ball and takes it. |

Have to disagree on the rfas for all we know they all wanted 1 year deals and weren’t interested in signing long term, can’t fault adams for that.

Thanks for reading.
He'll get better grades next year I bet. Krueger had a lot to do with the bad grades
Well unless he bungles Eichel |

I think a lot of that grade amongst most sabres fans stems from the Reinhart deal |

He should have dealt them then. Its a pretty big fail if he loses Ullmark for nothing |

He's also a first-time GM who hadn't had the opportunity to evaluate that talent from an executive's perspective.
Tough situation he was thrown into |

Yup, tough to determine what's "fair" to him because many of the problems he inherited
At the end of the day though, he owns it all as GM. That's just how it goes |

Any word on who the leading coaching candidate is for the sabres?

Agreed. That's what he signed up for. And if he thought that was tough, this off season is even tougher |

Is that because they think he is the best candidate or is he one of the only ones willing to take the job...... |
