It is not as if Ducharme is being held incommunicado, as has been said by multiple outlets Ducharme was present via zoom between periods and after game. He participated in building game plan, and will continue to do so.....yes it is a challenge, but only a small one. Keep winning games you should not, and this round is over in two more games.

I knew things might be different on the ice, but I wasn't expecting Ducharme's absence to affect their play the way it did last night. they won game 3 in a rather peculiar fashion, and that's great, but they might want to get closer to how they were playing in game 2 to give themselves the best possible chances of winning.

has it been confirmed that Joel Bouchard cannot be an option either..? he doesn't have any coaching experience with the habs per se but he knows Ducharme and his coaching style very well and could be a useful addition behind the bench to help the team get their poop together while DD is away.

I really like his attitude and play (when he's on his game, obviously). there's still some hockey to play, wouldn't be that surprising to see him again this year if another player has a very turrible game or is injured *knocks on wood*
