What I really don’t like about comparing the Habs or any team to us is what JB had to start with. Sure he’s made mistakes but he had marching orders which only delayed what some wanted done sooner. I woulda supported a rebuild not a retool.

Acquiring picks is made out to sound so easy & the retool required picks to try to help.

He is a 5.7 mil with a 3.67 GAA and 889 SV% . Teams are not going to be lining up to hitch onto some of that action. I don't think anyways .

Toronto can't make it out of the first round, Edmonton can barely make the playoffs, and Colorado... I've expected better, but Mac is a beast in the playoffs.

Basically it's easier to score 30 points when your team is in back-to-back SCF.

With the 9oa you should get another good piece. The bad contracts do factor into it but every team has them. Canucks on paper better than Canucks on ice.
