That’s what I’m assuming, so:
Vegas
Edmonton
Calgary
LA
Vancouver
Seattle
San Jose
Anaheim - 1970vintage
Interesting, pretty difficult to even predict before the off-season and since Seattle doesn’t even have a team yet so I think this will be more fun to do in about a month or so from now |

What I really don’t like about comparing the Habs or any team to us is what JB had to start with. Sure he’s made mistakes but he had marching orders which only delayed what some wanted done sooner. I woulda supported a rebuild not a retool.
Acquiring picks is made out to sound so easy & the retool required picks to try to help. |

Its a good point, flat cap changes the lamdscape big time. Seattle has a huge advantage in that sense. - neem55

Yes & interesting to see what they do with it. Lets hope this time around the other GM’s are not so foolish. I think the D they draft will be their biggest strength & in goal should be solid. Beniers likely their 1st pick. |

Kucherov joins mario and gretz as the only guys to score 30 points back to back in playoffs. Thoughts? |

He is a 5.7 mil with a 3.67 GAA and 889 SV% . Teams are not going to be lining up to hitch onto some of that action. I don't think anyways . - VANTEL
Does that mean Clarke isn’t a superhero coach? Or not enough time to turn Holtby around? |

Another question.
I keep hearing numerous posters talk about Vancouver’s amazing young core.
#1 goalie Bubbles
#1 center EP40
#1 defenseman Hughes
Top goal scorer BB
2way center Horvat
Hoganator
Podz
I mean that’s a good young core, so why isn’t this team taking the big step forward?
Filling out the role players should be the easy part after all these great kids. |

Toronto can't make it out of the first round, Edmonton can barely make the playoffs, and Colorado... I've expected better, but Mac is a beast in the playoffs.
Basically it's easier to score 30 points when your team is in back-to-back SCF. |

With the 9oa you should get another good piece. The bad contracts do factor into it but every team has them. Canucks on paper better than Canucks on ice. |

You guys are lucky your GM has identified 9 top prospects. Our GM , trying to get a peek at Benning’s list doesn’t realize he’s picking 12th. |

Hearing EDM and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins have made significant progress on an extension. Sounds like in the area of 8x$5M. This was a long, hard negotiation — but both sides grinded to get it done.

Yeah it would've been much smarter to say "Dear Fans, we've identified 7 top prospects - the rest are hot garbage so we're not expecting much from the leftovers and neither should you."

It is like a BBQ . You can have all the right pieces , but if you can't get them to work together , then you are sort of screwed.

Yeah, he came into the league at what 18? So he’s what, 27 now? Maybe the cap will be $100m by the end, or maybe he’ll simply MTA… |

Maybe he’ll be one of those playoff grizzled veterans at 36, showing what it takes to win |
