Big contracts will continue to be signed, Nuge just got $41m.
Why are you worried about it, don’t you trust Benning to manage the cap? - 1970vintage
Term is long & price cheaper due to the covid cap.
I don’t worry I leave that for others lol
We are going to see a lot of cheap vet signings. |

Friedman says flat cap for 5 more years so better to be low key & not sign big contracts. - Nighthawk
Wonder how/if that effects EP and QH contracts. Would they rather go bridge, or long term knowing it's a flat cap for 5 years? |

Longer term would be best for them if it is true. |

Smarter to bridge for a few reasons imo
Boeser qualifies @7.5m or does he want longer term for less? |

How do you feel about the Flyers going after Seth Jones? I get the feeling Flyers are going the wrong way. - VANTEL
The Flyers are getting long in the tooth, they'd be best served to start selling off some older players and rebuilding, Dave Scott won't allow that though. He's a business man and much like Aquilini he'll chase the all mighty dollar until he drives the thing into the ground. |

7.5 million is a lot of cake to be paying a somewhat one-dimensional player. |

. They say they had 20 sudden death calls yesterday. They've had 18 so far today and although under investigation, these figures are higher than usual and the heat is believed to be a factor. Details on

They're calling for 44C today, that's at the airport, it's usually a couple degrees higher in town.

This really screwed up a lot of GM’s…
On March 4th, the NHL expected the 2020/2021 salary cap to be between $84-$88 million. Bill Daly says he gave GMs a salary cap projection today for next season: the cap will be anywhere from $84 million to $88.2 million. The exact figure will be negotiated with the NHLPA.Oct. 2, 2020 |

So you’re telling me that between March 4th and March 16th (or there about) every GM in the league screwed up organizations salary structure? |

So drafting & ELC’s will be more important & necessary than ever before. Trades for Eichel etc will be massive hurdles with few teams able to engage imo.
JB & company are looking ok & why I oredict bridges fir Petey & Hughes. Expect only cheap contracts will be in order for many players & with expiring contracts after this season it could be in our favour in a huge way. Now those who worry about JB it might not be totally in his hands. Lol |

Not at all it’s a copy paste that affected many teams with long contracts on the books. How they navigate will be difficult. Some shrewd GM’s with cap space can squeeze good deals & can cherry pick. Not many teams are positioned well to do that. Seattle is sitting pretty. |
