Yeah, but the humidity makes the “feels like” temperature 38

Still beats the mid-high 40’s of yesterday’s “feels like” temps

It's 26 where I live and my phone's weather app is giving me "extreme heat warnings" for the next couple of days. I would be dead if I lived in BC right now

I could see EP 3/6.5m Hughes 2/5.5m staggered for obvious reasons.

On a 21 roster it’s very possible if to accrue cap space or to be compliant assuming no buyouts or only JV. Holtby could also be one. He wouldn’t cost much to do at all.

This might be an offseason to be aggressive & cap smart looking to next year with another flat cap. Advise going slow & not rush anything. No big fish.

So being aggressive to you means passing on big fish? Don't think the Canucks are that soft lol.

Big fish aka term & 6m+

Rather see many holes see signings & let the core carry the puck.

In goal we are fine.
On D some RHD help say 2 needed total 6m
Sign a legit 3C for value eg 3/3m
If cap left then a 3rd wheel winger. This is the hardest decision & who for what. Also can let it ride & run with current roster.

Looking at all value signings of 1-3yrs.

I could live with…

Hughes Hamonic 2/2m
Rathbone Myers
OJ Schmidt

Let the D grow together & live with some up & down. Expecting better play from them.

Rather something like…

Hughes Savard 3-4/4m
Schmidt Myers
Rathbone Hamonic
OJ

Could trade OJ to the Wings for their need but idk of a deal I like yet. Pick(s) so more likely stand pat. Edler is odd man out unless a big surprise trade is consummated with D.

I’m assuming JV is gone one way or another.
Roussel one last shot but likely 13th F.
LE to Abby an easy guess.

Like him or not he’s a necessary piece given RHD is so problematic lol

Only a big shake up on RHD changes that.
Don’t see him moving.

One of my friends fixes the air con for some bldgs and apts . He gets a call from a high rise saying their AC was not working properly . He drove there and found they don't even have an AC

bringing back the exact same D corps can't happen.

I’m not wild about it but more optimism than even I normally have lol

Expecting them to improve as a group & Shaw a big help.

It’s not pretty situation unless a remake

I’m impatient for the offseason to begin & see changes.

OJ for Patrick
Hamonic 2/2m he was solid
Add another RHD if makes sense
Same for a 3C making Patrick 4C
A top 6 winger be nice but the shopping list is getting big.

i'm an optimistic dude myself, but i'm not expecting improvements with the same players.
And to expect an assistant coach to be a big help is also a bit naive imo.

Not bullish the same d will be good enough yet.

Hardly naive to think a coach can make a difference.

Pussies, I worked in the Middle Eastern desert when it was up to 55°C, somebody had to do it cause the Arabs wouldn’t. They paid for it though

Just read that, progress

We’re driving back to AZ when the border opens, at least we have A/C down there.

Over 100 deaths since yesterday heat related. I would be more concerned of why BC is getting 46 C all of a sudden.

Just reported 233 deaths province wide in the last 48 hours.
