I liked Lockwood this year, gave me some Motte vibes minus the defensive reliability which should come with time.

My ranking which is inaccurate is

Mikey D
Lockwood
Cosmar
Persson
Woo
Lind
Focht

The prospect pool has weakened with 1sts bypassing the AHL. It will restock up soon enough.

Some people don't get this. Instead of prospect pools, look at U-25 talent.

I would be happy with one NHL player drafted every year.

If they keep finishing near the bottom of the league, like they have been, yeah, of course it will. The worst teams typically have the best prospect pools.

Typically yes. Some simply blow it & waste their talent.

Way too soon for him . Persson had a better year than him by far.

I believe top eight pool rankings are something like this for the spring of 2021? Depends who you read.

1) LA
2) Ottawa
3) NYR
4) Carolina
5) Montreal
6) Colorado
7) Detroit
8) Philadelphia

Vilardi is likely included there for LA and yet VAN is punished for EP

Loui Eriksson is owed 3 million dollars in salary next season and only a 1 million dollar signing bonus on July 1st. It’s been the opposite for the past five seasons, a 1 million dollar salary and huge signing bonuses. No chance he retires. Stranger things have happened though.

EP40’s been in the league three years, Vilardi one. How many years are you a prospect while still playing in the league in your mind....five?

Not my point.

Same draft year and yet LA’s prospect pool is artificially boosted while Vancouver’s takes a massive hit simply because they drafted the far superior player

You just realize this lol. The window to Utica him out passed. If they don't buy him out he'll stay in Abby to bring the twins their popcorn.
