I don’t think they are making a lot of stupid decisions. They are just playing a much better team. What’s becoming clear is that they need to find a quarterback to run the power play. Erik Gustafson is not the answer. - cburgess
not in the same league really. and that makes last night Habs performance really impressive. they played a spectacular game, and still fell short. |

They don't have an as deep as Tampa roster, and some guys have been playing a lot of minutes these playoffs. That's catching up to them and that's why they made those mental errors last night. Tampa capitalized on both and that was enough to flip the game in their favour. |

Ya, but like you could argue the 3 best forwards and 2 best d men in the series all play on tampa. Habs have done well and have nothing to be ashamed of. But it sort of shows you the level they have to get to in order to win the cup. |

it must be because I'm not "woke" enough but I don't feel the need to self-flagellate for what the Catholic and Protestant churches have done to the natives ... am I a bad person? |

Yes. Let’s blame the loss on “stupid decisions”. Hab fans fail to realize that stupid decisions by their opponents got them into the final. Also key injuries and referees not calling penalties helped too |

Not as deep? The Habs wouldn’t have even made the playoffs this year if the divisions hadn’t been realigned for COVID. Heck, if it was an 82 game season the Senators would have caught them. |

I love all the dinks coming out now that the habs are down 2-0 in the cup final. They beat 2 cup contenders to get here so I think it’s a legit run. |

I am still so (frank)ing pissed off about that second goal.
What a cluster(frank) of stupidity when you have control of the puck with 10-12 seconds left.
Amateur hour. |

Remember when the Flames were playing the Canucks while the teams that mattered started the playoffs?
That was awesome.

But how do you know how things go if there was no covid implications on the season?
Simple answer is none of us know......and wrapping guessing up as facts is ridiculous. |

You could also go find something else to do with your life. That's what I usually do when my team is out, I don't go pestering on the Stanley Cup finalists' blogs to tell them my two cents with petty trolling attempts.
Now, you go back to the Leafs thread where you and your buddies can circle jerk over the Wayne Simmonds extension and as always, prepare to award your soft ass team the Stanley Cup in October. |

better trolls will hopefully come along soon. these guys have more conjecture and excuses than you guys do and you're the team down 0-2 in the final. you'd figure it'd be the other way around. |

The Flames were flat out awful and to think if they actually won some games against the Senators they probably would’ve made the playoffs. They need to tear it all down and rebuild. |

at camp, I said Habs were built for the playoffs, that I was afraid of only 2 teams. WPG and CGY. weird season. |

tough loss for sure...but the Habs proved they can play with these guys...they belong...they actually dominated at times and that 2nd P was awesome except for the last second goal against.....having said that...I felt Sergachev should have received a match penalty for the Lehky hit...very dangerous in the corner...that was intent to injure...the leauge has got to be looking at this kid...he's trash....very suspect decision making....im actually very surprised as I always thought the HAbs made a mistake on that trade...not any more. - Hockey Pucker
That guy is trash no doubt. Someone need to give him a beating. In any event I hope it’s like the 1993 series with Nordiques where we will win 4 straight, but 1 game at a time |
