As I said before the Canadiens were a fraud. Not enough offense Carey Price is really good but has one flaw...........He can't score goals. That team had no business being the the Cup finals but due to Covid a Canadian North Div was created and somebody had to win. They got lucky but you also have to be GOOD and they were never going to be good enough. I know the truth is sometimes hard to swallow but none the less it is the TRUTH

Well said. Concise, to the point and preaching truth. You should be a public speaker. Clearly it’s your calling.

well, you can always ask them to eat a part of the salary, but that will increase the price you have to pay. my point is Habs have the cap space to take him without STL eating part of his salary.
and yes, patience with kk. if a deal comes up for another young player, the same age, yes he could be available. but for a 27 y/o vet? meh... nope.

Which 27 year old vet?

I think you’re outlook is rather flawed. We enjoyed a playoff run. Got stopped by a juggernaut in the finals. Sort of like the Leafs running into their juggernaut in the Habs.

Enjoy your summer 🙂

Anyone know which player TB are losing this summer for sure?

how could any of us know this?
my guess is SEA will pick Cernak, but that won't be enough to make them cap compliant.

There is no way we can negotiate with any player to see if he will sign an extension? I guess that’s the key, he should still have 5 good years left but need to extend right away after the trade is done

Tampa, I don’t recall the last time I heard from a winner as classless as Kucherov.

I am really sitting on the fence with KK he looks lost in the regular season but we need him amongst others to get us to the playoffs first
- habs88888

Personally I'd rather watch Tampa lift the cup from every year here on out and get a sledgehammer in the balls besides, then trade KK and other assets for Tarasenko. That has Scott Gomez or worse written all over it.

You think he will be Semin 2.0?

No way I would want to see TB win another cup soon let them wait 28 years, get to the finals and lose

i just watched it. yeah, that wasn't a good look. even going after a player would be weak after the series is over, but going after the fans for celebrating? pretty lame thing to even let yourself get worked up enough over that you're bringing it up in press conferences.

I think we have no way of knowing what the (frank) he'll be, so we would be giving up on KK who despite some struggles, I think he's still showing decent promise, and other assets for a declining, injury riddled player who wants out on top of all of it, which further weakens their negotiating power. Why would we ever pay top price for this?
I'm not 100% sure it's even worth taking that contract on for free with how tight cap space is.

I hope he gets booed everytime he's in Montreal and someone in Vegas gives him another cross check in the ribs.

Fans in Montreal don't seem to need comments like Kucherov's for a reason to boo.

Why the heck were they booing Sergachev every time he touched the puck?
Did he force the trade to TB?
