For a while there, the Canadiens looked like it was their destiny to win the Stanley Cup, but it just wasn’t to be. The Habs were badly outplayed by Tampa Bay and the defending champs retained their title, defeating Montreal in 5 games.

The boys fought honorably. While I congratulate and think Tampa was the better team, I didn't think much of Kucherovs play or his comments. I like that he loves his goaltender, but to refer to Fleury "as some guy" and to appear as he did was a bit classless.

tks Karine. perfect as usual. and congrats on a job well done all season long.
proud of the team, lots of positive. they showed character but came out short.
next season will open in less than 3 months, camps in 2 months!!
we should know about players having to go under surgery pretty soon.

Now confirmed by Kucherov’s agent (and Joe Smith of The Athletic) that he played with a fractured rib after the cross-check by Mayfield. - AGalchenyuk27
