Usually when the draft is near, I'm invested, looking at players profiles and mock drafts ahead of it.

I guess picking 30th kinda takes the excitement out.

Threw in Archie to get you going. Panarin

Drai is good though. Any team would love him

- doon

Sure.

I'd rather have Kucherov than Panarin for sure. No question or debate. Comparing a forward to D or G gets a bit cloudy.

This is rich coming from a fool who previously said something along the lines of Tampa's fanbase being all rednecks.
- Izzo

I said what now? I've made a lot of Florida man comments but absolutely certain I've never said rednecks

Kucherov was picked 58th overall. Point 167th overall.

I believe those two players (individually) were more important to that team than Kucherov. I like Panarin

No need to defend yourself. Most Tampa fans are complete morons.

yeah, comments on HB definitely have the same reach as a pro athlete speaking to the media. millions and millions of people read our comments here, we need to be careful about what we say.
- Pat1993

I actually appreciate the gravity he puts behind my statements. I never knew I had such a background comment creeping audience following my every thought

Kucherov is a former league mvp who plays even better in the playoffs. 127 points in 113 career playoff games in the current NHL is craziness

Very impressive. Like I said, you need a good team to rack up points in the playoffs. You don't think McDavid could have those numbers on that team? Any of the forwards mentioned? I think they would. McDavid even more

Nikita Kucherov's goal gave him 66 points in the playoffs over the last 2 years.

The only players to do that over a 2-season span in the playoffs are Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux.

I'm not comparing him to McDavid. MacKinnon plays with some pretty good players around him. Hedman, Point and Vasilevskiy play with the same roster. Panarin does most of the heavy lifting there, he's just not as good as Kucherov.
