Or spread them out? The expansion blog couldnt have come out yesterday or tomorrow or any other day prior to the expansion lists being due on Saturday? I mean, didnt we already have an expansion post like 2 weeks ago? Nothing has changed since then lol

I have to agree with you on this one. In my opinion the pressing issues of UFA, Expansion draft, and our upcoming Draft should be top news. I like the McLeod extension, as the kid really did make an impression this season. He changed his game from potential 1st line player, to a shot blocking freight train. Still, he is a bottom 6 guy. White is doing nothing but taking up top minutes that could be used to develop our top prospects. It's only a 1 year, but I would prefer to move on from him. Walsh/Shak/Bahl should all be to minutes in Bing this year.
I mean, not saying I want these guys, but OEL, Suter, Yandle, Martinez, Oleksiak, Hamonic, Gustafsson, Murray, Barrie, Reilly, Montour, Goligoski, Lehtonen, Forbort, Larsson, Savard all potentially looking for new homes in the immediate future. We should certainly be looking at 1-2 of them. Given that Smith is our offensive driver, and P.K. and Sevo are both liabilities in their own zone, I would put emphasis on the defensive minded options, but anything would be an upgrade really.
I don't hate that they drop their blogs at the same time, but I really want to discuss the pressing matters rather than fringe NHL'er re-upping their contracts.
