He's twice the player "Nuge" is. "Nuge" blows at 5 on 5 and gets most of his points on the powerplay. He couldn't carry Landeskog's jock strap to the laundromat.

C'mon, it was obviously a typo. Suter loves popsicles. Absolutely crazy about them. A smart team like the Flyers can fit him under their cap by signing him for the league minimum but then offer him unlimited popsicles. So long as the league doesn't get wind of it and call it circumvention, it's a brilliant move.

I didn't mention term. Sure, keep the contract 4-6 years given his age and the potential that his style of play might wear him down, but if his teammates are gonna get paid, so should he.

I wouldn't be surprised If Landeskog leaves, He's getting no love from Sakic In negotiations because the Avs are trying to bring In Jones and Kuemper the way It looks now.

As a Wild fan I'd love to have a great 3 zone player like Danault.

Maybe Fletcher can bring the old gang back and sign Suter and Parise to matching 13 year 80 billion dollar contracts??

It's interesting that yesterday the Flyers were looking at Suter to replace Niskanen at 1RD and play with Proorov.

Today he's viewed as a LD playing on 2nd or 3rd pair. To me that suggests the Flyers talked to Suter and he reminded them that he plays LD. But talks are happening. Maybe he'll sign right after the expansion draft? I'm going to have a popsicle while I wait.

They’re also all better, aren’t they? I know MacKinnon is, Makar is going to win some Norrises in the near future. I don’t get to watch many Avs games but I had the impression that Rantanen had already surpassed Skog in terms of on ice contributions.

Don’t get me wrong, he’s a great player, probably good leader, I’d love my team to have him, but if he wants similar to those teammates, that just seems kinda crazy.
