Friedman just this morning said Boeser is not on the market. His name is only out there because it was the ask from a team as the return in a specific trade talk |

Why would Vancouver unload Boeser? |

Sam Reinhart (from Vancouver, won't sign in Buffalo) for Boeser. Boom, get 'er done. My sources are murky but this makes sense. |

A possible Seth Jones signing? . . . First, Jones must be acquired from Columbus to even think about signing him . . . and if the Avs are hoping that their Captain will sign @ a discount so that they can grab Jones in a year when he is UFA, well, if I'm him, I pack my bags and see what exciting things are out there on the 28th, both financially and competitively.
Honestly, Rantanen got 9.25 million . . . next year MacKinnon will probably get around 12 million, and this year no one will be shocked if Makar gets north of 8 million. COVID or not. If I'm Landeskog, the number needs to be 7.5 - 8.5 million considering what he brings to the table and what his teammates are making or project to make. |

So Friedman says Boeser is not available, but Ek has heard that 8 different teams have enquired!! Where there is smoke there is fire. Looks like Ek got the scoop on Friedman. Nice job.

I watched Danault in the playoffs and saw a guy who could win a Selke. But I also watched him for the last 3 seasons get tons of Selke votes. In 2019 he finished 7th in Selke voting. Then 6th in 2020, and 6th again in 2021, including numerous ballots that had him in the top 3. Pretty sure GMs aren't suddenly interested based on these playoffs. |

Those teammates you are mentioning are 3-7 years younger. Important consideration for a long term contract. |

That’s interesting. Not one mention of the Leafs. Surprised Ek would omit the click bait |

In regards to Hyman, I think he's gone. The Oil are a good fit for him. I'd rather have Foligno sign for cheap (hopefully) and a 2nd player similar to how Hyman plays for roughly the same money total that Hyman will get on the open market. |

Ek talks directly with the gms. I doubt Friedman has those sources.
Also hi Burkie and Hexy. I know you’re reading this.

Well thanks to Kenny taking 100% of Keith’s cap hit the oil have no room to sign a guy like Hyman or Danault. |

Nah. If he wants to stay and take a run at a cup for the next 4-5 years he can sign for similar or slightly more than what Nuge just got. Otherwise good luck and don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. |

Montreal offered him 30M/5 yrs before last season. He’s not really a fit. Shutdown guy that can win faceoffs but not a playmaker and doesn’t score enough. Hope they pass. |

I seem to remember after he came off his injury there were talks of a deal involving Boeser and Dumba. |

"Today @ 1:51 PM ET
popssible"
C'mon, it was obviously a typo. Suter loves popsicles. Absolutely crazy about them. A smart team like the Flyers can fit him under their cap by signing him for the league minimum but then offer him unlimited popsicles. So long as the league doesn't get wind of it and call it circumvention, it's a brilliant move. |

He's twice the player "Nuge" is. "Nuge" blows at 5 on 5 and gets most of his points on the powerplay. He couldn't carry Landeskog's jock strap to the laundromat.
