Fletcher 100% has a move in the works or has a free agent in mind for the 2nd pair RD. And based on everything he’s been saying since we got eliminated until now, he will be making a move. He’s emphasized many, many times a main goal was to strengthen the defense and improve at preventing pucks goin in our net since we were bottom of the league last season at that.

Ghost was atrocious early on last year, but actually played pretty steady after that. It really was disappointing after the guy put up 65 points at a young age to see him regress. It’s a tough league.

I'm just saying you equated the trading of Ghost to the requirement that Fletcher turns it into something "titanic" along the lines of Jones or Eichel but the value of Ghost, a 2nd and 7th isn't getting you either of those guys, nor any other elite players so I don't understand how this trade drives that requirement.

We can hope that Fletcher is magic but he's not. I expect him to fill the rest of the team's needs after the trade and come out with a better team.

Pure possession. They're pretty close in xG too. Myers burped up some pucks, but mostly he was quietly effective.
