All I heard all year was goalies are bad, terrible, AHL caliber, worst goalie in history, and on and on and on. The best I heard was to say the backup goalie cost the team a season when the upfront multimillion dollar talent took their money and ran.
I remember saying at one time the core of this team is the problem starting with Captain Jack. Only captain in history who thought only of himself. World caliber talent but not a leader. Sam didn’t mind chirping his goaltenders but should use the leg muscles to back check instead of his jaw muscles. Risto better grow some balls playing for the flyers or he won’t last long there. Dahlin should look back and say Ralph wanted him to learn defence to make him into a better player and become the true team leader. He is the top dog of the core now but the respect from his teammates will depend on his ability to be more than one dimensional.
Don’t look now but the core of this team is all but gone and Ullmark will be resigned. Don’t worry or care about who the backup is because whomever it may be, he can't make or break this team. Now this team will have a core to build around. The future is bright and yes Power to the people of Buffalo - Camel

Yeah I can see that.
What ever 1st round picks the Sabres get Eichel and Sam will obviously be for next year. Load up on as many firsts as possible
That is sorta smart |

This is a lazy, pooptty take. We have no idea what the lineup this year is going to look like yet, and our prospects getting seasoned is one of the best things going on in this whole organization, rather than rushing players in who are not ready. |

The Sabres already lost Buffalo so it's fitting

I mean…… Eichel and Sam are goners
Get as many 2022 firsts as possible
And let the kids grow this year
I expect the Sabres to look like the sens from last year |

Lazy, yes. poopty take or aware of piss poor ownership that continues to interfere?
Terry wants Wright like he wanted McDavid, expect the same approach. |

I think this is different. Cozens mitts dahlin proving themselves this past year post Ralph is the core in place
Add in wright and profit |

No way 5 more years. If they get Wright or Savoie they are winning D+1
or even the year they are drafted. |

I agree with this.
Also we got Eichel and Reinhart and drafting before that and late rounds has been terrible at best.
This team's 2nd round busts have set the sabres back. Poor drafting has left Eichel and Reinhart on their own. |

We missed on some picks. Not saying they were glaring or easy but
Leon instead of Sam in 14
Aho in late 1st instead of trading picks in 15
Chicken man instead of Nylander and we are fine right now.
It was the right idea to re build. We just missed |

Think about the situation Austin Matthew’s was drafted into. It was perfect for him
Wright could have that. Not to sane extent but have something similar with pieces in place

Okay, we didnt hear this song already with Eichel. Second verse same as the first. - Mentalorgasm5
Thats an issue you need to work out with yourself. It seems you haven't come to terms yet with what the sabres are doing.
No amount of laughing emojis is going to change that. |

Trading for Lehner was a huge mistake. Hate to go backwards but this team was set with picks when Tim Murray took over and traded them away for magic beans. |

To say Devon Levi had a great 2019-20 season with the Carlton Place Canadians would be a massive understatement. All he did was post a very stingy 1.47 goals-against-average (GAA), .947 save percentage (SV%), eight shutouts, and an eye-popping 34-2-1 record. He also had an impressive showing at the World Junior A Challenge where he posted a 2.86 GAA and a .917 SV% in six games. One of those games was an upset of Team USA, who were the defending champions.
