Ben Shelley: Ducks re-sign Max Comtois, Max Jones and Josh Mahura

Mahura's deal is what you would expect for a borderline guy who will probably split time between Anaheim and San Diego. Jones will be a solid bottom six guy and this deal might look like a bargain two years from now if he continues to develop. If Comtois is able to build off last year, this deal will look like a bargain next year. Max is kind of a wild card - he can disappear at times but when he is engaged, he is a solid top 6 guy. Hopefully his play will become more consistent as he grows and matures.

The really interesting signings are the ones from last week - Lundestrom and Steel. Those guys are probably competing for the same long-term roster spot, and Bo Groulx might be pushing them both before the end of the year.

Comtois is going to be a steal.. 2 million for 30 goals…
