the owners of the houston arena told the wild a few years ago to get their AHL out of their cause concerts are cheaper, and more profitable, than having a hockey team.

of course, which is true for all hockey teams. the thing with an NHL team is that it secures 41 nights. less money per night than a concert, but they cannot have rock shows every night.

one day montreal will have a superstar player who leads the league in goals and they might be on the cover.

as a fan of hockey, it's great to see a guy who has so much mainstream appeal be on the cover again. Hell, they've put Toews on twice and he's a glorified 2nd line center with intangibles
