I've read other things that say there's ways to money manage it so it's actually not that big of a difference where you play. Like giant signing bonus structures the Leafs use. I don't know though. Tampa can suck my balls either way.

Not really weird - even if Hockey is not as popular in the US, EA Sports is in the business of making money - having a US born player on the cover is probably calculated to be more profitable than puting a Canadian on the cover. Ten times the population and more potential game sales.

EA sports is a US company based in California. I believe Zezel was implying the game does not fly off the shelves in the US, not about it not being available. Ten times the population so bigger potential no matter which way you spin it.
