He'll get a bridge deal , I say 2 years at 2M$ per - stinger67
Most likely what will happen.
But I do think the right move here would be to give him that 4M for 6 years deal, if he's willing to take it. |

Yeah...I just hope they give him regular wingers this time around. Let him develop chemistry.
Still that's a young centre squad
Suzuki (22 years old)
Kotkaniemi (21 years old)
Evans (25 years old)
Poehling (22 years old)
Unless they give the fourth line centre position to Perreault...

I'm guessing both parties want a bridge deal, Kotkaniemi's agent will argue that his client is likely going to be the team's 2nd centre, and will want more money because of that. - stinger67

The camp will decide if Poehling sticks or is sent to the AHL, because he's the only one that doesn't need to go through waivers.
I think the kids will do fine.

Why would you rather have an underwater bridge than an electric railroad system that could carry thousands of people everyday while removing cars from the roads? |

We already have plenty of empty buses going around that could be filled if people really wanted to use the public transport system here...an electric railroad system won't change people's mentalities.
Living in a big city like Montreal, I'd for sure use public transport. I just don't see the point in a place with low population density like here. |

But a strong public transportation system is the only real viable solution down the line.....
If people won't change their way, they deserve to be stuck in traffic. |

The fact more and more people are working from home already removes a certain portion of the traffic. If they can present a decent enough public transport project I'm sure people here would be all for it, but the way it has been done right now is questionnable.
Also, the new tunnel (or bridge, or whatever) should include public transport lanes to help with the traffic. |

Obviously I hope to high hell the Habs make the playoffs. But I have a feeling this will be a bit of a "gaining experience" year and we will be on the outside looking in. And I am actually ok with that. Let the young centers fully take the reign, get much need experience, come back next year much better for it, and hopefully with a strong puck moving D-man to go with it. |

I can allow them a year without playoffs with the fun they gave us this summer personally. |
