I actually like our forward group as a whole, even without Danault. The only true concern is if KK can do well in the second line role, but I think the whole team being strong on the wings should help insulate him.

I think losing Weber is a huge blow to the D though, and the D group overall is probably the biggest weakness of this team. Not much speed or offensive skill back there.

i've been getting lucky and haven't spent too much time out there since the real heat hit, but today felt like the most humid day we've had so far.

he was never the best skater out there and power type players generally don't age well into their 30's.

tbh, very few 8 year deals age well anyway.
