yes, but it came from Fidopro.
Unless he talked to the parking guy. They are probably better than the airport guys at this point, with gloves and sticks. - deadpoulet
as long as it isn't the Kandahar airport it should be fine.

if you look at the first 10 games of the season it wasn't such a silly perspective, but then poop went south real fast. - Pat1993
Yeah I phrased that poorly, I meant during the season and then it turned out to be more or less true in the playoffs. |

meh, don't think I disrespected anyone, my apologies if that's the case lol... I just find the whole thing was so ridiculously predictable, not sure what the US were expecting would happen by completely removing their troops.

If Brian freaking Burke was able to let Dustin Penner go to the Oilers, I have no trouble believing Bergevin could do the same. Same type of overinflated offer sheet for the same type of offensive output. Let's use those picks instead as leverage to find an actual #2 C or use this opportunity to actually tank on purpose for once and maximize our chances of a high 1st round pick. - AK27
I think it's hard to argue against this, I'm sure most regulars on this thread have an idea of what I think of Drouin, but even he has more proven offensive output... how (frank)ing sad is that for KK. He has potential, but I think even Galchenyuk looked better at this stage. |

Yes |

Is it a great return for a 21 year old 3rd overall pick? - BINGO!
Sometimes like when you trade stocks, you better short your loss…
The return is not fantastic but the initial decision to pick KK was even worst…
They gambled and lost… |

at the risk of repeating it for the 157th time, KK is still 21 years old... and I think his hockey IQ and work ethic are superior to Galchenyuk's, he should be fine imho. |

No tank.
I'd drive KK to the Airport, buy him a Shirley Temple at the bar.
And hope He likes NASCAR. |

I know his age, hence why I said mentioned stage. Galchenyuk's numbers on arguably worse teams in his first three seasons are better than KK's. I agree KK has potential, but I think the 1rst and 3rd are a better deal than paying north of 6 million for the foreseeable future (with further qualifying offers) to *maybe* see a 50 point second liner in 3 or 4 years. |

as I was saying yesterday, this all depends on what Bergevin currently has in the works in terms of acquiring a top 6 center... it could automatically make KK way more expendable.

Oh I 100% agree their team is terrible without a KK replacement, but with or without him they're a very fringe playoff team at best and defintiely worse than last year without Danault and Weber. I don't think they're near good enough to compete for the cup unless some other big trade is coming. I'm fine for a retool/rebuild if no sensible options are available. Keeping KK is chasing sunken costs imo. |
