The Montreal Canadiens, the team rumored to be pining for ARZ18, don’t have a single center with Dvorak’s finishing ability. He would be a notable inside threat on MTL’s mediocre PP. He would also be in his element at 5v5 alongside one of MTL’s excellent RWs, Brendan Gallagher, Cole Caufield or Tyler Toffoli.
In Arizona, Dvorak is a bit underrated. In Montreal, he can be really good.

If the Habs walk away, I am not sure I want them to waste picks / prospects on a middle 6 center that likely does not move the needle much going forward, other than to have a decent body to throw out there so they win a few more game (yet likely won't make the playoffs).
At this point, I am more in the mind of cleaning house (management) and players (trade deadline) and using the picks / prospect we have / get to build slowly and properly.
There is enough youth on this roster so that 5 years down the road, most of them will still be effective.
