What i mean is that is they need to fill #2 center. Would probably cost less than that to get Monahan or Dvorak. But if the habs get a quality #2 center. This team is solid

Having KK leave is better for the team. Forcing him into a #2 center role was not going to help the team. Now they have to trade for an upgrade

agreed. shouldn't be difficult to find a center that will be better than kk. the kid is still young, may become good, but for the upcoming season... he's not there yet.

Finally some entertainment in a summer of silence. How does Bergevin still have a job? I dont care what people say about the outrageous price the Canes paid to OS a marginal NHL player...this is about Bergevin being asleep at the wheel. Not sure what his asking price was for KK when talking trade with the Canes, but it seems to me Bergevin still cant see the errors of his ways in taking KK at #3 a few years ago. And KK was supposed to be one of the main trade pieces to land Eichel??? LOL. I actually feel a #1 and #3 for KK is about as good as the Habs could ever do. Fun listening to the holier than thou Montreal fans....no playoffs as last year was a fluke

that's the best he played. ever. these 2 weeks in the bubble.
I like his game along the boards, but he's not really good defensively, not really good on the faceoffs, not really good at shooting either. he has a good shot, but takes way too much time to let it go. still very young.
