I can only see holtz, mercer and Foote up front competing that would be any sort of difference maker, others would be more 4th line plug mins

I do think Foote should make the team and holtz and mercer play in Utica at least to start unless holtz really shows he is ready

Would also like to keep the zacha Nico Bratt line together but who knows

I put Tatar on nocos line as Hughes needs those bigger boys on his wings. Johnsson due for a break out season so stick him with Zacha and Wood ( our top scorers from last year..) .

So there are opportunities for 3-4 forwards to make the NHL roster. Would they be Boqvist, Studenic, Holtz, Thompson, Mercer, Foote, Clarke, and/or Zetterlund.

Forwards: I'd be surprised if Foote, Holtz, Mercer make the team, in order of least to most surprised lol. I honestly think they should all just play on the same line in Utica and be done with it.

D: I'd be shocked if a kid knocks out Siegenthaler. We just signed him, he's further in development than them and should take another step this season. We all know what the pairs will be. Me thinks Jaros will be the 7th D.
