Mark Jankowski much better than both unemployed. Gonna be funny watching that 4th line get overplayed. - hello it's me 2050
I keep seeing folks say Brown has no offense. Even though the sample size at the NHL level is small…2 goals in 12 playoff games for Vegas—that is not zero. How much do 4th line guys score on average? As a depth guy who is very responsible defensively, I am happy he gets this opportunity.

I left a comment on the Flyers feed about Ov’s injury stating that it sucks he might miss time because I want him to beat Gretzky and become the leagues greatest scorer. The Flyers’ fan made a stink that he got what he deserve for attempting a league hit. So you know me, I argued - SuperSchennBros
i want him to beat it too. it would be cool to see. it's going to be tough enough for him to do without any injuries. unfortunate, but i'm fine with the result of that play haha.

It remains to be seen if the GM had a great offseason. Wont know that until months down the line.
What significantly reduced del do you think captain comfortable will take? What amount and years?
Brown isnt a marginal NHL player. He is an AHL player 100%. - hello it's me 2050
G will be 34 when he starts his next deal. It seems he wants to stay in Philly and the Flyers want to keep him, so that indicates a team friendly deal is possible. Depending on how well he plays this season, I would look for a 3 year deal around $12-$15m. If I were Fletcher, I would not pay more than that or go longer term. I believe in jettisoning a player 1 year early versus 2 years late. |

Your expectation for the impact of the 4th line is funny, but did you prefer Cates or Wilson? Who do you think has more offense Brown or Thompson? Who is faster Wilson or Thompson or Brown? |

It’s a different argument completely if I believe it was an illegal hit that cost us Konency but neither happened. |

He wont take anything less than 5 million per imo. Hope he gets 4 years 6 per.

Yeah my expectations for wanting to put a wining product on the ice is funny.
A 37 year old who is way past his expiration date. A 29 year old AHL guy who doesn't even dominate at that level. A guy who should be a 13th fwd on the other wing.
Throw the left over slop and call it your 4th line. Great way to build a team. None of those players you mention would be in the NHL on any contending team. |

So the 4th line determines a winning team…okay. You don’t like any of the current options. Okay, so you just want to complain. They haven’t played a single game yet!

That game was more physical than most preseason games. I think the caps were trying to send a message a bit that they think they can still push the flyers around. Glad the team in general pushed back.
I was surprised when ov stepped up for that hit. Even more surprised when it was ov that got hurt. |

I think it’s fine. Let’s see what he has. Of note, Vegas who I considered a contender last year (beat colorado who many pegged as cup favourites and made the semis) had him play 12 playoff games. If he was only an ahl player, I wonder how he made that team’s roster? |

Exactly, Vegas only a contender when it fits the narrative.

in one post he hopes giroux makes more money than he believes he's worth because it will hurt the team's cap structure. in the next he's talking about his expectations for wanting a winning team. it's laughable.

If he is an nhl player then why at 29 has he played 33 nhl games? The flyers apologist are just flat out blind.
