The teams problem is not at wing

Why not start G at Center and sign Ryan for league min?

Guessing they would have to send a blue collar guy down to do that which is not ideal especially since their pk is a disgrace, but I think it’s at least worth a discussion. The guy can still play.

Can we at least play a single game before saying the sky is falling. It’s a depth move at a league minimum. Doubt this tips the scales in any direction but maybe the staff see him as an upgrade to current options. No player in this league is a stiff. Well the cancel culture has really got Gruden by the yarbles. NYT has gotten a hold of his emails going back 7 years and he trashes gays, women and even Rodger Gudell and Biden. He’s in big do do now.

It is never a good idea to put a player on LTIR when you have the cap space. The Flyers will be able to bank that cap space starting on day one and it will be quite valuable come the trade deadline when they may or may not be looking to make a big move.

He doesn't need to be on LTIR to let him take his time. Unless the Flyers add another player, LTIR is not available to them right now.

It’s going a little far. And this reeks of Dan Snyder holding his arm out and snapping so people look over there and get distracted by a man’s emails instead of the attention being focused on the then Redskins atrocities in the workplace.

I do agree that Gruden was at a minimum pretty naïve if he thought sharing his thoughts over email to Allen using his Redskin email address was going to be private! I have no problem with people having an opinion, but the reality is if you share your opinions over social media or to company email addresses, you will face some level of consequences, in this case it cost Gruden his job, which is unfortunate.

It's really a testament as to how bad the Flyers young forwards are that they have to keep bringing players in off the street. I try to be a glass half full kind of guy, but it's really hard looking at the depth of this forward group due to bad signings and drafting. Where have you gone Jay O'Brien and Linus Sandin?
