Thanks Carol! Nice to see the AHL games going and prospects putting up points! One small thing, you mention Tyler Myers is out, but I think you meant Tyler motte! Cheers |

Thanks Carol!
I had hoped the OEL trade would mean that Green would stop riding Hughes so hard but it appears that is not the case.
Insane to think Dahlen is playing on the Sharks top line after tearing it up in the 2nd tier Swedish league |

Great stuff Carol, nice to hear klimovich is settling in and playing well. Pretty stoked he gets a year of ahl at a young age, makes me wonder if we still might see him on the big club. |

Thanks Carol!
I like how Mikey D has shown he's been a winner in the past, whereas Silovs has not won anything yet to justify being called a "winner", unlike Mikey D, who is a winner. |

Thanks Carol
Silovs v Mikey D.
I think Mikey D will be the Canucks back up next year for a year but eventually I see Silovs winning over . Nice problem to have. |

I don't know if you read something on Kucherov or MicKinnon going on LTIR so they can trade for Eichel , but the NHL has to take a stand on this. I also expect Price to miraculously fix his brain freeze on day one of the playoffs but unfortunately I doubt they make the playoffs this year.
NHL needs to make sure teams are cap compliant in the playoffs. |

Don’t think McKinnon will go on LTIR because he would need to miss 10 games/24 days and he should be out of Covid protocol before that. Col also not interested in Eichle unless Buf keeps salary, which they said they won’t do.

I like the roster posted for practice. After watching Millers play , I like that he is taken off the top line.
I know last week I said he should be playing with Petey but even with as many points as he has , his IDGAF attitude and bonehead plays I would reward Hoglander with the top minutes.
I hope Green will take a long look at this lineup and not shuffle it every five minutes. |

Honestly, I'm of the opinion we should trade Miller this TDL for a pick and prospect. Klimovich looks like he could step in by that point and would make Miller redundant. The money we save could easily go towards Boeser's next contract and a replacement for Hamonic. |

32 thoughts talks a bit about the situation, criticizing NHL for not allowing teams to place Covid related absence on LTIR without the specific time requirements.
They also talked about Eichle and the challenges in moving him. |

I heard the Elliot talk about Eichel on the Canucks broadcast .
NHL needs to get a grip on the cap circumvention. I know a lot of teams are abusing it including Canucks. |

Unless someone is throwing out an AMAZING offer or the Canucks have really fallen out of the playoff race, I think you keep JTM until the summer. It'd be a bit of a kick in the Richard to the team if they're heading into the playoffs and you trade one of their top line assistant captains. It also gives Klim a full year in the AHL.
Offers are usually good in the summer as well around the draft. I've been championing the trade JTM thing for a while. Get a pick and a younger solid RHD back would be ideal. |

All they have to do is remove the ability to use LTIR to go over the cap and the problem goes away. It would stimulate more trades and force GMs to actually make hard choices on who they can keep and would spread the talent out more as it would make some players be unable to be kept after their ELC runs out. |

No wonder the site keeps crashing, you Jack-offs are double and triple posting… you hit submit and then just wait, it will go through, no need to hit submit again. You probably also keep pushing the elevator call button until the doors open?

Klimo scored a couple but his defensive game is cringe worthy. There was still talk after his first goal if scoring is enough to keep him in the AHL and not junior regarding how poorly he played without the puck. Scoring or not, he needs time and isn't making Miller redundant by any means.
Slow down...

You aren’t supposed to say the S word anymore. It’s derogatory towards miniature, color challenged magical creatures. |
