Yeah you'd never trade away a guy when he's at the top of his value to buy low on someone who's slumping. You always want to pay as much as possible.

The time to trade Girard for a top-6 winger was a year+ ago when Avs still had Graves, Zadorov, Cole, and Timmins to help fill in, and people hadn't yet realized how useless Girard is in the playoffs.

We don't want Eichel. He is selfish, has a bad attitude & responsible for Buffalo losing coaches/GM. We don't need that kind of player on our team

I too would really like to acquire Jack Eichel for assets that are currently fit to play so that he can get surgery and maybe return for the playoffs and suddenly try to spring in to game shape and be effective.
