Ben Shelley: Ducks break losing skid after many close games, Getzlaf sets Ducks' record

Ben, you forgot to add, "In the playoffs, if they started today" Anaheim Ducks. Yes, the Ducks team that EVERYONE had picked to be one of the worst teams in the NHL is in a playoff spot right now. This team has been a blast to watch so far, even through the losses. I contend if the Ducks had just decent goaltending, they'd be one of the top three teams in the Pacific right now. The other exciting part to me is that half of
the team is 25 years old or younger.
Glad I got to see Getzlaf become the all-time Ducks scoring leader. Figures he does it with an assist! If that guy was just a tiny bit more selfish, he'd easily have over a thousand points by now.

Love what I’m seeing out of Terry and Henrique.
Lundestrom looks like he’s taken a notable step as well.
Drysdale still has to learn how to defend against the bigger nhl bodies, but he’s great on the pp, snapping it around.
The team is playing much better than expected, but we’ve been here before.
I hope to see more growth from our youngsters, but don’t really care about playoffs this year. It’s still not our time.
