For right now, they send Murray down and keep Krebs here

That puts them right around $287,000 over the cap floor.

However when Mitts comes back they will have to send someone down to get to 23 on the roster, they will be under the cap floor. They will also have to do that again when Joker and then Tuch are able to return since they don't count towards the 23 but do count towards the salary cap.

I would imagine another trade is going to happen in the next week or two. Maybe a C-Bus goaltender we have been talking about...

I don't know what happened off the ice but he was still the only reason to watch this team for the last 12 years. I get that he had to go... it still sucks.

He gave all he could on the ice. May have been a poop head to deal with, but very talented. I get the disdain for him, but I also do have a few good memories. OT goal in Car with second left. Trying to drag the team by himself to the playoffs two years ago. I’m sure he’ll get booed for it (I also know when he gets booed he goes off, see every game against the leafs, in Buffalo or Toronto)

When I was ok with him traded he wasn’t good 5v5. He’s much better this year and am on board. Just didn’t want to overpay for a “PP specialist” which he’s not anymore.

bring in skinner and they light it up, then the next season skinner gets banished to the 4th line

spend half your career on the ice with ristolainen just getting your heads caved in

bring in taylor hall and they're on the same line for the first 3 games of the season then practically never again.

then to top it all off they deny you the surgery you and your doctors think is best for not only right now, but the betterment of the rest of your life

So, Buffalo gives up their best scoring centre for a 25 year old (injured) winger that scores 20+ with a stacked team, plus a guy that seems solid, but more of a worker bee at WJC, plus a possible late 1st. It's deals like this that keeps VGK near the top of the league and other like Ottawa and Buffalo near the bottom. Maybe this works out for Buffalo, but the team need is still a #1C.

I can't imagine liking him. I'm not rooting for it, I'm rooting against Vegas as a whole so our picks are better but it won't bother me at all if his surgery is unsuccessful and he's never able to play again.

I don't blame him for having a crappy attitude, I blame the Sabres for ever making him captain, guy just isn't captain material. The hate can go either way if you look at it like I do.
