McNabb to Isles. Trotz gets a "Trotz guy" at a manageable cap hit. Vegas gets a 2nd, a little relief, and it starts to build back its draft capital. |

This is actually realistic. Still like to see them take a swing at Lindholm at some point, but McNabb wouldn't cost much and probably fit the bill. I, admittedly, don't know a ton about McNabb but I'd prefer someone that could move the puck. |

The Chicago Blackhawks unve a new coach.
You can say that again!
|
|
|
|
Eklund didn't mention them, but the Flyers need scoring depth at center and wing. |
|

|
Wait so the Islanders are going to trade for Lindholm AND Manson? - eichiefs9
Not sure why the Flames would trade one of the top 10 players in the NHL this season. |

Then McNabb isn't your guy. He's there to hit, support, and play tough minutes. 3/4 of his starts this year are in the defensive zone. I'd think Hampus would cost a 1st at least and others would be bidding. But I never underestimate Lou to get a deal done. |

Yeah in a perfect world the Isles would jettison both Greene and Chara and replace them with someone like Lindholm and McNabb...but that's a fantasy.
Greene has done well getting bottom pairing minutes, but Chara has largely struggled so far (although has played his best couple games in the last 2-3) and is a major step back from Leddy in that spot. Possibly the worst thing about Chara isn't even his own game, it's the fact that he's been so bad that it's forced Trotz to break up the Pelech/Pulock pairing who have been one of the top shutdown pairs in the league for a few years now.
I'd have no issue adding McNabb, he and Mayfield would be a bastard of a time for guys to play against. I just think that Leddy's ability to transport the puck is an element that they're missing badly. |

Sorry to see Canadians have their liberties taken away as those in the US. I understand rabbis are arrested and churches burned in your country. Liberals, you must be so proud of your government. We have lawmakers wanting to pay illegal aliens 450,000 who broke the law. Corruption rules our country, sorry ahole concerning the upside down world, I just can!t make jest of the situation that our countries face. - marleyreap
I dream of a country with only conservatives. It would immediately become the freest and richest country in the world. Crime would stop. Drugs would stop. Children would not be indoctrinated by left wing public education nut jobs. Everyone would prosper. That's what conservatism does.
I hope you and I can someday live in a newly formed conservative country between real conservatives from the US and Canada. A country founded on christian and capitalist values. |

Chicago unve a new coach? Good stuff.
Why would Lou love Sam Girard?
Why would Chicago spend assets on a veteran d-man when they have zero chance to win and will be selling at the deadline? I believe Caleb Jones is close to returning so probably makes sense to give him a look before adding more depth.

Christianity (and all religions) have caused more harm and death to society than leftists. |

I am. Thanks for bringing it up. The atheist left is void of moral values and they lack the spiritual guidance needed to ensure a functioning society. |
