I have to say, that goal by Giroux was amazing. He actually made as though he was going to shoot high blocker side on his backhand. The slightest of feints that undressed V.

Lightning absolutely controlled play in that period but they had 4 bad breakdowns in that period uncharacteristically.

I agree but only in the right sense. For example if a team knows a defenseman has a knee injury, I don't think they're going to try and attack that body part to see if they can knock him out of the game. I do however think that they will try and attack that defenseman offensively to try and gain an advantage.
