Just read the Kuzma interview with Geoff Courtnall…
“Nobody feels this more than the ownership group,” said Courtnall. “They want to win and they were pretty much told that this year the team would be good, and they’re not. I’m sure (Aquilini) is upset. He wears the team on his sleeve and he’s given them the money to pay these guys, and put everything in place to put a great product out there.

Courtnall is the last guy anyone should listen to but there he is giving insight and advisement to FA. Failed real-estate projects, failed oil and gas, and also "loves his exciting investments in African gold..." You can't make this stuff up. He is a gambler just like Green and FA is a sucker for the fast talking gunslinger.
The scenario is eerily similar to the Oiler alumni situation for so many years.
How Green still has a job is mind boggling. He is terrible, and his players have quit on him. GmJB would have fired him if FA would have allowed it. A new coach gets this club a .600 record. Then it is up to the other teams to make the Canucks fate.
The director took the opening scene from a music video he shot years earlier.

I didn't know that. Awesome song too. The music in Baby Driver was top shelf. Makes sense now. Listening to the sound track as I type. You’re going to send me on another YouTube vortex. Going to be another late night. lol.

And the internet rarely disappoints…
In Baby Driver (2017) the music video for Mint Royale - Blue Song is breifly seen on TV. The music video was directed by Edgar Wright and was used as inspiration for the opening scene for Baby Driver.

In Courtnall and Gino we trust, they are going to right this ship.
Nucker’s in shambles because of his avatar bet with me that the Canucks will right their ship before the Sharks do. Sharks are having a decent season while the Canucks are… well, the Canucks.
