Some pretty nice players in the upcoming 2 drafts.đź‘Ť - Reubenkincade
Little tiny Conor Bedard having a very pedestrian season so far. He is actually 3rd in 05 born babies in the WHL. Surprised when I saw that. |

From Friedman’s 31 Thoughts:
For a decade, Bergevin and Molson were like Edge and Christian, a true tag team. Other managers would say Bergevin had one of the best GM/owner setups in the league with true backing and support from the top. (Another is San Jose: Hasso Plattner/Doug Wilson. Get well, Doug.) Bergevin received a lengthy extension three years after being hired, and Molson backed him until now -- even when the fanbase didn’t.
“I’ve never interfered with the hockey decisions,” Molson said on Monday. “I’ve always been somebody who asks a lot of questions, finds a way to be supportive. Today you see me making a difficult decision, and that’s because I’ve reached a point where I’m not supportive anymore.”
Wonder if FA reads Friedman’s stuff? |

Marquee, historically significant sports franchises like the Canadiens can be ran a bit differently.
Floundering, half-assed franchises like the Canucks… not so much. |

Just a couple more fine players to look forward to in the 2023 draft, to go along with Bedard. - Reubenkincade
Non midgets.
The video I saw of Filip Bystedt reminded me of Jeff Carter. A big lumbering forward that has a heavy shot. |

Love being a Canuck fan. We've had some great teams and players. Couple of cup runs came up short but so what. Pretty exciting the last 30 years The only real strike against the Canucks is their "new" logo - ie. The whale.
Get back to the black yellow and orange (or is it red??). Embrace the suck and on we go.
We are 1 head coach and 1 d-man away from a top 3 finish in the division. The only issue has been that Green, Baumer, and King are totally lost and have lost their players. The split between Miller against Boeser and Petey also needs to be dealt with. But you trade Miller for the Dman you need and are basically back at it. |

Is there anyone on this team that Miller isn't fighting with right now?
I'm guessing next time they lose it will be Miller is fighting with OEL because Miller doesn't like Swedes.
Maybe because Boeser's home state Minnesota is doing better than Miller's Columbus. |

The Canucks die a thousand deaths from self-inflicted wounds. They implode due to poor ownership, poor management, poor coaching, poor leadership, or poor player performances at critical moments. As Naslund so poetically stated once, “we choke”.
Regardless of whatever historical records the NHL keeps, the Canucks are guaranteed to be in the bottom five. And at this particular moment, the future does not look bright as most astute fans are coming to the realization that we may need to rebuild a roster that’s been rebuilding for the last decade. Hooray!

On the broadcast the other night, they were saying he grew up just outside of Pittsburg, and his family are Pens fans. Not saying you are wrong, just it was all blah blah blah nice to be home to see family etc. |

Is Hamonic in against the Sens? That should get them into the playoff push.
Trigger warning - @ThomasDrance quote:
“We don’t even know where Travis Hamonic is.” |

I think Hamonic makes the defence better but that's someone I would trade
I did hear a rumour that he wanted to be traded during his little hold out at the start of the season.
Maybe Canucks could ship him to Boston for Jake Debrusk and a mid round pick.
Add: Didn't Marchand say he felt sorry for players playing in Canada due to covid. Boston must be a much better place. |
