Just read the Kuzma interview with Geoff Courtnall…

I’m sure (Aquilini) is upset. He wears the team on his sleeve and he’s given them the money to pay these guys, and put everything in place to put a great product out there.

Courtnall is the last guy anyone should listen to but there he is giving insight and advisement to FA. Failed real-estate projects, failed oil and gas, and also "loves his exciting investments in African gold..." You can't make this stuff up. He is a gambler just like Green and FA is a sucker for the fast talking gunslinger.
The scenario is eerily similar to the Oiler alumni situation for so many years.
How Green still has a job is mind boggling. He is terrible, and his players have quit on him. GmJB would have fired him if FA would have allowed it. A new coach gets this club a .600 record. Then it is up to the other teams to make the Canucks fate.
