Not sure how the league can fairly introduce a Canadian division. Some teams have played more away games against eastern opponents, some teams ( Oilers) have had a very easy schedule to start the year. How could they possibly change the alinement and keep everyone happy?

As much as it would be nice to beat up on then Canucks again for the rest of the year, would it really do anyone any good?

I doubt the league or players would care if the games were even more unbalanced than usual.
The season previous to last was a similar scenario.
All options will be on the table.

I’m not a fan of the spaghetti plate or the yellow trim. Black as a main color, yes, but the current color scheme is West Coast. I think they should go with the modified stick in rink sweaters with an added white pinstripe to it.

I’m not going to get too down or up on any GM hire until we see some actual moves if it’s a rookie GM with no track record to analyze. I remember Fenton was highly regarded because he was Poile’s guy and he flamed out in Minny.

On that note, I have seen Jason Botterill’s track record of moves in Buffalo so I hope he isn’t the guy. Don’t care if he’s an analytics guy, him and Chayka are both a hard pass for me based on their previous GM work
